Submitting a project

Who can submit a project?

  • A public entity (ministry, public establishment) 
  • An international or intergovernmental organisation 
  • Non-profit-making associative entities
  • A partner involved in the social and solidarity economy

The project initiator must be legally incorporated, must prove existence (Chairman’s report and financial report) of at least three years and must prove ability (technical, financial, operational) to implement the project.

Which project?

The projects must fall within the Prince's Government development cooperation policy, especially in terms of geographical distribution and fields of intervention.

Particular attention is directed towards projects complying with national and regional sectoral development policies, implemented for the benefit of the most vulnerable groups, creating ownership and sustainability for the beneficiaries.

How to submit a project?

For projects looking to a launch in 2020, the project leader must submit the documents below between 1 and 31 March 2019:

Examination and selection

Your file will be examined by a selection committee from the Department of International Cooperation in accordance with a set of detailed evaluation criteria.

The project initiators selected should then complete the project form and its annexes in accordance with the models from the Department of International Cooperation:

Project monitoring

All projects supported by Monaco’s international development policy require an annual report with requests for funding, and then a final implementation report.
