International call for projects
The Monegasque Cooperation's international call for projects will take place from Monday 3 April to Sunday 21 May 2023, with priority given to the following themes:
- Health and Food Security & Nutrition for West Africa and East & Southern Africa;
- Education & Child Protection and Access to Decent Work for the North Africa / Mediterranean region.
Who can submit a project?
- Non-profit-making associative entities. Priority will be given to African and Mediterranean NGOs.
- An international or intergovernmental organisation.
- A partner involved in the social and solidarity economy.
- A public entity (ministry, public establishment).
The project initiator must be legally incorporated, must prove existence (Chairman’s report and financial report) of at least three years and must prove ability (technical, financial, operational) to implement the project.
Which project?
The projects must fall within the Prince's Government development cooperation policy, especially in terms of geographical distribution and fields of intervention.
The projects must be implemented exclusively in one of the countries of intervention of the Monegasque cooperation and, in the case of multi-country projects, in several countries of intervention (South Africa, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Lebanon, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal and Tunisia).
Particular attention is directed towards projects complying with national and regional sectoral development policies, implemented for the benefit of the most vulnerable groups, creating ownership and sustainability for the beneficiaries.
How to submit a project?
For projects looking to a launch in year N+1, the project leader must submit an official letter of submission and documents below between April 3rd and May 21th, 2023 at the latest :

Examination and selection
Your file will be examined by a selection committee from the Department of International Cooperation in accordance with a set of detailed evaluation criteria.
The selected project initiators will then have to complete the project form and its annexes in accordance with the models from the Department of International Cooperation (see here )
