Monaco Humanitarian Collective: "A Vaccine against Dreariness" Campaign

Today, the Monaco Humanitarian Collective (M.C.H.) joined the solidarity campaign "A Vaccine against Dreariness," organised by the association "Les Képis Pescalunes."  Colouring kits were handed out in three of the Collective's partner establishments in the Principality and in France for the benefit of children in hospital.

The aim of this campaign is to "give colour back to 2021 to create a rainbow of happiness." The campaign was initiated by the footballer Olivier Giroud, the M.C.H.'s charity ambassador.  It consists of providing colouring kits to children in hospital, whose isolation is often made even worse by the health crisis.

Thus, three new "dessinodromes" (drawing hubs) at the Princess Grace Hospital, the Cardio-Thoracic Centre and the Lenval Hospital will be able to open in Monaco and Nice thanks to this operation.

In the Principality, the association was supported by Commander Martial Pied, Deputy Chief of the Palace Guards.

"Les Képis Pescalunes" is a French association that helps sick children and orphans of the National Gendarmerie.  It was founded in 2006 by gendarmes from the Hérault and Gard regions and is active nationwide.

The M.C.H. is a "chain of solidarity" comprised of 16 Monegasque NGO members, three French NGO partners and six partner care centres in Monaco, France and abroad.
