Launch of the LIFSA Call for Projects - 2022 edition

The Government of the Principality of Monaco (Office of International Cooperation) and the Alliance Française of Johannesburg are launching today the first edition of the "Local Initiatives Fund" call for projects, aimed at supporting civil society initiatives in the townships of the Johannesburg area in South Africa.

As part of its development cooperation policy, the Monegasque Cooperation is strongly committed to South Africa. The aim of this new call for projects is to support local initiatives which primarily target the improvement of living conditions for children under six, young people and women.

South African civil society organisations (CSOs) are invited to submit project proposals in the fields of education, child protection, vocational training, entrepreneurship, food security, health, culture and sport. Successful applicants will receive a grant of up to 10,000 €.

This call for projects is open from Monday 25 July to Monday 26 September 2022.
